Daredevil: Born Again, season 2, is currently airing in full swing. The TV series has most readers and viewers hooked, and the creators even announced Season 3 recently, but here’s where things get exciting. The Marvel executive producer, Dario Scardapane, said we’d be getting new villains, and here’s everything we know so far!
Marvel producer confirms new villains for Daredevil S3
In an exclusive interview with The Direct, Scardapane was asked if he could shed light on some new characters and villains in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, to which he said, “The idea of heroes and villains in our story… Somebody that you may see can evolve into something unexpected… The idea of introducing characters that we know, Bullseye being one of them, and playing around with, ‘Should we be rooting for this guy? Wait a second, we can’t do that.”
“He killed Foggy.’ So yeah, I mean, everything’s on the table. I think that fan expectations get… I love reading theories. They tend to far outstrip our abilities. But yeah, we’ve got a few more people heading your way.” He added.
Season 2 features Kingpin, aka Wilson Fisk. He is a strong and formidable villain in the series who takes the cake in terms of his mastermind abilities.
As Scardapane said, Bullseye is the one character who would make the audience not root for him. His sheer and utter disregard for human life is what makes him a detestable character.
Even in the comics, the character goes on a spree and unalives many innocent people and seeks joy out of it. Then there’s Muse, too, who plans his crimes well and makes art out of it, but the whole manner with which he does so is downright disturbing.
Hunter Doohan did an amazing job portraying the character. He brought out the nefariousness of his character perfectly.
For Season 3, there are speculations that Kingpin and Bullseye will return as one of the main villains. There have also been reports of Heather Glenn possibly playing the role of a Lady Muse, though none of it has been confirmed so far!
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is slated for premiere in 2027. Season 2 is available for streaming on Disney+.
