Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams joins the cast of Tyrant
As reported by Deadline, Hudson Williams has now joined the cast of David Weil’s upcoming thriller movie Tyrant. The movie features Paapa Essiedu, Nara Smith, and Charlize Theron in central roles.
The plot details of the movie alongside the release date aren’t disclosed as of yet. What we do know is that the movie is set against the backdrop of New York City’s elite fine dining scene. It is a thriller film, but that’s not it.
Tyrant features a star-studded cast that sure looks promising. There’s Omar Apollo, Demi Moore, and Julia Garner. The ensemble looks favorable, and many fans have praised the cast lineup so far.
This would be David Weil’s directorial debut, though he has worked extensively on several television series. These include Hunters and Solo, and at present, Weil is working on Invasion, which is being aired on Apple TV.
As for Williams, he started off his career by playing a minor role in CBC’s Allegiance and CBS’s Tracker. His role as Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry gave him the big break, and his performance was hailed by many critics.
Not only that, but the actor has also featured in several music videos, including Laufey’s track Madwoman. His role in Weil’s Tyrant hasn’t been revealed as of yet, but most netizens are surely looking forward to it.
Paapa Essiedu, as we all know, will star in HBO’s upcoming and much-awaited Harry Potter television series, where he will play the role of Severus Snape.
As for Tyrant, the movie will be distributed by Amazon MGM Studios and will be co-produced by Charlize Theron and Andrew Rona. The script is co-written by both Weil and Cody Behan. It is currently in its pre-production stages, and further details haven’t been made public as of yet.
