The popular sci-fi horror series FROM has finally been extended for a fifth and final season, as per MGM+. This move is being revealed by the channel a day before its Season 4 premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Although available widely through Amazon Prime Video across many countries, it is being confirmed by the channel that the upcoming season will be the last one of the show.
Answering all queries, ending one of its biggest series
John Griffin, Jeff Pinkner, and Jack Bender are the executive producers of the show who made it clear that the final season is meant to complete the entire story arc in the best way possible. In a joint statement, they said that some questions that have been raised for a long time are expected to find an answer. On the other hand, it would also give rise to some interesting twists that will change the whole perception of the residents about the town.
Filming for the final season is scheduled to start later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The decision for renewal has been taken only days before the release of Season 4, which was supposed to premiere on April 19, 2026. This makes it evident that there was no issue faced by MGM+ that forced them to stop the series mid-way.
This season of FROM will have ten episodes, the final episode of which is planned to air on June 21, 2026. According to initial indications, this season is expected to take things further, where the truth about the mysterious events will soon come into light. However, finding the truth comes with its own share of dangers. This season is all about Boyd, portrayed by Harold Perrineau, keeping everyone safe as well.
Michael Wright is heading the network, and he recently expressed how proud he feels about FROM, calling it their most successful original show so far. It has consistently garnered viewership and generated discussions among fans as well.
From is also famous for its active fan base, known in the industry as the FROMily. For this final season of FROM, its total episode count is expected to reach somewhere near 50.
