Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a $100 million five-year deal with Netflix in 2020 following their departure from the royal family. With reports indicating that the deal will not be renewed, the couple now has to find new revenue streams. Reportedly, they could earn up to $10 million from their ongoing Australia tour.
Here’s the full itinerary for Harry and Meghan’s Australia tour
Ted Jenkin, Managing Partner of Exit Wealth Advisors, has stated that the estimated $10 million in earnings comes from multiple revenue streams. Providing a breakdown, the couple will likely earn around $2 million from speaking arrangements and appearances, $3.5 million from sponsorships and brand deals, and $4.5 million in media/content value (exposure, branding, etc.).
“Meghan and Harry could make money from audience aggregation, premium access, brand leverage,” Jenkin told Page Six, adding, “anytime these two get in the public eye, it usually follows with a flowing cash register.”
Kicking off in Melbourne, Australia, on Tuesday, the week-long tour saw the couple visit the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum, while Meghan also stopped by McAuley Community Services for Women. On Wednesday, Harry visited Movember HQ in Melbourne, with the couple also attending a reception for Invictus Australia, among other engagements.
The tour will also include an InterEdge Summit, a mental health event, and a Scar Tree Walk on Thursday. Additionally, the couple will be sailing on Sydney Harbour with Invictus Australia. The next day, Harry and Meghan will attend a rugby match.
One of the biggest moneymakers is Meghan taking part in a “Girls’ Weekend” for the “Her Best Life” wellness retreat. Standard tickets for the event are priced at $2,699 per person, going up to $3,199 for VIP packages, which include perks such as photo opportunities. The website states that VIP attendees will get a group table photo with Meghan.
The retreat includes yoga, meditation, and wellness sessions, alongside gala dinners and curated experiences, and is being hosted at the luxurious InterContinental Coogee Beach Resort.
One of the reasons the Netflix deal was not renewed is that projects like Meghan’s lifestyle show, With Love, Meghan, and the Polo documentary did not gain much traction. Moreover, Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, officially ended its partnership with Netflix in March 2026 to stand on its own. The tour marks a pivot towards independent income streams following the Netflix exit.
