The Pitt star slams fans’ disrespectful behaviour
On her Instagram story, The Pitt star Isa Briones blatantly called out disrespectful behavior by fans, especially their yelling in the middle of a Broadway show.
“Hey, hey, hey! Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling, ‘when are you going to finish your charts?’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ is f—— disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are p——’ me off.”
Briones’ response to fans’ uncivil behavior is spot on, and very often, the audience tends to behave that way. Time and time again, many theater actors and singers have clapped back at the entitled behavior, but here’s something most people don’t know!
For the uninitiated, Isa Briones’ father, Jon Jon Briones, is a legendary artist known for his contributions and immense work in musical theater.
Her career in theater goes way back to her childhood, and she has often cited her father as the influence behind it. She appeared in various stage productions, including Grease and Evita.
Briones also received the 2018 Ovation Award for Featured Actress in a Musical, especially for her performance in Next to Normal.
Not only that, but she also won the Actors Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble, especially for her performance in The Pitt.
This was at the 2026 Actors Award, which she attended alongside her father, and even during that moment, she credited him for his support and contributions during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I think this is our wildest dream—to be able to be here [tonight], and the fact that I get to represent and feel the pride from him. This is bigger than I ever thought it could be,”
