As per media reports, the cast members will be sitting down with prominent American television host Andy Cohen to discuss the budding romance between Wilson and Batula, among other things. A source told Page Six that the cast appeared “emotionless” upon arrival on the set, apart from Mia Calabrese, who smiled for the cameras.
The reunion taping comes just weeks after Batula and Wilson confirmed they are dating, a development that shocked both fans and their co-stars. The relationship drama gains significance as Batula recently separated from her husband, Kyle Cooke, after being married for several years, and Wilson previously had a connection with Ciara Miller, one of Batula’s close friends.
As per a source, when Batula showed up on set for the taping, producers asked fans gathered there to delete any photographic evidence of her. Reportedly, Ciara Miller came in through the garage to avoid the paparazzi.
In an interview with Glamour, Miller, who had dated Wilson a couple of years back, was frustrated by the new couple’s “mindf–k” relationship, claiming that it felt like a betrayal by her close friend Batula. In an Instagram post in March, the couple confirmed their relationship, claiming that the “connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship” and that they had no intentions of hiding it.
“Filming a reality TV show and then sitting at a reunion eight months later is not normal,” Miller said, adding, “It’s not real life; it’s having to remember everything you said or give a reason for why you said everything you said. I’m a bit nervous.”
Meanwhile, Wilson had stated in his podcast that Batula was single when he got together with her, clearing up any insinuations of cheating. The couple is expected to clarify how the relationship unfolded during the reunion.
