While Euphoria Season 3 brought back old cast and some tear-jerker moments, this season has also introduced some new, yet interesting, actors. This holds especially true for the multitalented artist Rosalia. The Spanish singer-songwriter had nothing but praise for the Euphoria director, and this is what she had to say.
Rosalia expresses gratitude to the Euphoria director
Recently, Rosalia took to Instagram to show her support and gratitude towards Sam Levinson and the entire crew. She thanked everyone for believing in her in a post that showed her crying and her sweet message to Levinson, saying:
This was my face when I was confirmed that I was cast in Euphoria. It was the first casting of my life, and EVERYTHING was in English. Imagine having a dream for years, and it comes true when you least expect it. Thank you, Sam, and everyone else, for believing in me 💜 Eternally a fan of Euphoria and graaaaaaaad for this experience
For the uninformed, Rosalia is a trained flamenco singer and dancer. She is fluent in contemporary dance, and mostly, she is hailed for her finesse in songwriting and vocals.
She is currently training in ballet, and her track Berghain blew up on the internet for its gothic opera flair. Her role in Euphoria’s recent episode was rather refreshing and contrasting, and it most certainly drew praise and a positive reception from the audience.
Rosalia plays the role of Magick, a stripper at Alamo’s bar, where she is seen donning a neck brace. She talks about how she can sue the person for whom she wore the brace.
For her role, Rosalia trained with professional choreographers who specialized in pole dancing as well as contemporary. Her fellow co-star Chloe Cherry cheered her on the Instagram post, calling her “cool, extremely talented, and gorgeous.”
Fans, so far, have appreciated Rosalia’s avatar as Magick and thoroughly praised her performance in the show. Most viewers said they definitely would want to see more of her character in Season 3, and it is refreshing, to say the least.
Euphoria Season 3 is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
