If you’re a fan of unconventional romantic flicks, Honeymoon With Harry is that one movie you should be looking out for. It stars Kevin Costner, Jake Gyllenhaal, and, apparently, Rita Ora has joined the cast for the movie. Here’s everything we know about the movie so far!
Rita Ora joins the cast of Honeymoon with Harry
Rita Ora, as reported by Deadline in their exclusive feature, has now joined the cast of Honeymoon With Harry. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Kevin Costner in the lead roles.
So far, her role has not been disclosed yet, though her confirmation in the movie has been made public. Ora has previously starred in various films and TV projects. Her notable role was in Fifty Shades of Grey, where she played Christian Grey’s sister, Mia Grey.
Also joining the movie is Sarah Pidgeon, whose breakthrough role was as Carolyn Bessett in FX’s Love Story. She has been praised through and through for her iconic role in Ryan Murphy’s series.
Pidgeon also previously starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer, where she played the role of Stevie Ward. In this film, she plays Todd’s wife.
The story follows the journey of Todd, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, and Harry, his father-in-law, played by Kevin Costner. Both men go on a honeymoon after Todd’s wife passes away a few days before the wedding, and that too tragically.
Kevin Costner, as we all know, is a seasoned actor who has starred in various projects. His last notable project was Paramount’s series Yellowstone, where he played the role of John Dutton. He even won a Golden Globe award for his legendary role
The movie is directed by the duo Glenn Ficara and John Requa, who previously worked on Cats & Dogs, Bad Santa, and Bad News Bears. Its screenplay will be done by Dan Fogelman, who has previously worked on a variety of Disney flicks. These include Bolt, Tangled, Cars, as well as rom coms such as Crazy Stupid Love and The Guilt Trip.
Honeymoon with Harry is currently under production stages, and its release date and full cast have not been revealed as of yet.
