Euphoria has its fair share of characters that fans absolutely despise, and Nate Jacobs is one of them. The show’s off to a rocky start, especially with Season 3, but reports suggest that Nate might not make it to the end. But is it true, really? Let’s find out!
Is Nate Jacobs going to die in Euphoria S3?
According to the stats presented by Polymarket, almost 70% of people believe that Nate Jacobs will die this season. Some fans seem delighted about this whole idea, while others are skeptical.
There were also memes regarding the character getting his deserved and satisfying end, and it makes sense. Nate Jacobs, come to think of it, is a horrible character through and through. He is described by fans as a toxic, manipulative, and abusive boyfriend who put Maddy Perez through hell, both physically and emotionally.
Nate not only cheated on Maddy but even threatened to unalive her. Let’s not forget that he pointed a weapon at her in one of the scenes. He controlled what she could wear and what she couldn’t.
Not to mention, he made Tyler take the blame for what he actually did. He even proceeded to gaslight Jules when she did not comply with his behavior to the point where he also blackmailed her.
His toxicity knows no bounds, and it is interesting how his character did a complete 360 in Season 3. There have been speculations by many fans that Cassie could even end Nate, considering how controlling he seemed to be at first.
While Nate now owns his father’s estate and is managing the business and company, we see that this theory could be partly plausible. This is mainly because of how the season is approaching Cassie Howard’s trajectory.
Both Cassie’s and Nate’s ideas of a relationship stem from their dysfunctional childhoods. It also circles back to Maddy and Cassie’s conversation, where the former tells her, “It’s just the beginning.”
While everything seems collected for now, it is likely that Nate will revert to his old self. When that happens, it is possible that Cassie might end him, but again, these are just speculations made by fans and viewers.
Euphoria is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
