Mortal Kombat 2 is almost here, and the movie features a fascinating cast. This can be said for Tati Gabrielle, who will play Jade in the upcoming movie, but that’s not it. The actress is also geared up for her next Intergalactic project, and here’s everything we know about it so far!
Mortal Kombat 2 star Tati Gabrielle on starring in Intergalactic game
Tati Gabrielle recently spoke to IGN, where she was asked what she is particularly excited about when it comes to Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Gabrielle said:
“Um, literally all of it. Um yeah. Literally all of it. I’m excited to play myself. I think that it’s such a different, a different side of Naughty Dog that I think people are going to get really excited for. It seems they’ve even challenged themselves in ways of world-building. So yeah, that’s all I’m going to say, but I’m super stoked.”
To give context, Gabrielle will play the role of Jordan A. Munn in Naughty Dog’s game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. She said that she is basically playing herself, which she is absolutely excited about. The video game is slated for release in 2027, as some sources suggest.
The actress rose to fame after playing the role of Marienne in Netflix’s You, where she happened to be Joe Goldberg’s love interest in Season 3.
She then went on to star in The Last of Us as Nora in the second season, and she will reprise her role in the third season as well. Nora is Abby’s friend who is later unalived by Ellie in the second season.
As of now, Tati Gabrielle is all stoked up to star in Mortal Kombat 2, where she will play Jade. She was praised by her co-star Adaline Rudolph in a recent interview with Black Girl Nerds for training extensively for the role.
This was a reference to Gabrielle’s proficiency in martial arts, and since her character Jade required action scenes involving heavy and power-packed movements with the Bo staff, the actress did so seamlessly without breaking a sweat.
Mortal Kombat 2 is slated for release on 8th May, 2026.
