Jake’s shopping spree is a minor annoyance for Millie Bobby Brown
While talking to the host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Alex Cooper, she opened up about how her husband tends to go over the top with spending, even for basic things. She implied that Bongiovi won’t hesitate to spend luxuriously and loves shopping, while she prefers convenience.
“I will be like, oh, I need socks,’ and he will be like, ‘let’s go to Prada,’ and I am just like, ‘let’s go to Target,'” she said, adding, “He’s just like that type of guy; he loves to go shopping. He will refuse to pack a suitcase because he likes to go shopping in the place we are going. That’s what he does.”
Meanwhile, the Enola Holmes star is very careful about how she spends her money and even involves family before indulging in major purchases. “I am like AmazonBasics, I love that. When I do spend money on something, I have to call my parents; I have to think about it. I don’t just buy right away.”
However, she stated in the interview that she is helping her husband through this habit and revealed that he does go through buyer’s guilt after splurging on things that he doesn’t actually need.
“I try to help Jake through that, but he does get like buyer’s guilt,” she noted.
Safe to say, it shows a lighthearted relationship that brings out her grounded personality and his tendency to go big, even when unnecessary. Millie Bobby Brown is pushing practical, everyday shopping over luxury buys, which a lot of people can identify with. They both exhibit yin-and-yang qualities that help complement each other.
