It has been made clear by Marlon Wayans that if Scary Movie 6 is a box office success, then it goes without saying that there is about to be a real Wayans Renaissance with the long-awaited sequels to White Chicks and Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.

As has been made clear by Marlon Wayans in his recent series of interviews, it seems that the only way these sequels to these films will ever see the light of day is if Scary Movie 6 is a box office success. As has been made clear by Marlon Wayans in his interview, “We’re gonna dig in the crates and bring back some hits.”

The benchmark: Scary Movie 6

It has been made clear that Scary Movie 6 has already been filmed and is to be released on June 12, 2026. As has been made clear above, it has all the potential to be a box office success if it continues on the same path as all of the other films that it has been based on. In this latest installment of Scary Movie, parodies of all of the latest horror films to come out are featured. These films are to include M3GAN, Nope, Scream, and Longlegs.

As Wayans puts it, the sequel to the original film is the one the public asks about the most. However, the brothers have already talked about bringing the Copeland brothers out of retirement to go undercover in modern times. The only thing standing in the brothers’ way is the arduous seven-hour process of donning the makeup. Nevertheless, the brothers are willing to go through the process for the fans.

The most surprising piece of information, however, is the fact that the brothers are working on a sequel to the original Don’t Be a Menace film, which was released in 1996. This new film will be a satire of modern-day black films and hood films, just as the original film was a satire of the classics of the ’90s. The brothers are even considering satirizing socially conscious horror films and TV crime dramas.

Until the brothers’ new film comes out, however, they are concentrating on the upcoming Scary Movie 6. If the film is a success, the brothers promise that the crates will open, and the classics of the 2000s may officially be back.
