Kylie Jenner rarely talks about her relationship with Timothée Chalamet in public. Three years together, and she has kept almost all of it off the record. That changed on April 1, 2026, when she appeared on Kid Cudi’s debut episode of the Big Bro podcast and actually opened up about his filmography.

Call Me by Your Name and the Dune Films Top Her List

Kid Cudi asked Jenner directly which Chalamet film is her favorite. She did not dodge it. “That’s hard for me because I feel like I really love them all,” she said.

But Call Me by Your Name is pretty, like, perfect. It’s just pretty perfect.” She also said she really loves the Dune films. And then came the reveal that has people talking: she has seen Wonka seven times.

Not the awards-season prestige films. The Chocolate Factory movie. Seven times. The context around the Kid Cudi connection adds to the story. Cudi and Chalamet go back years. Chalamet spent the entire Call Me by Your Name press run in 2017 and 2018 crediting Cudi’s music as a major influence on his acting.

Cudi said he eventually got a message from Chalamet’s team, and they reconnected, at which point Chalamet took him to see Call Me by Your Name in a theater in Los Feliz.

He bought the tickets. “Super dope,” Cudi said on the podcast. From that point, they started watching every Chalamet film together as a tradition. Jenner said she was not included in one of the Wonka screenings Chalamet organized for a group, which explains why she had to see it seven times on her own.

Chalamet publicly acknowledged Jenner for the first time at the Critics’ Choice Awards in January 2026 when he accepted Best Actor for Marty Supreme. “Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you.”

He said essentially the same thing at the Golden Globes the following week. The Big Bro appearance is only Jenner’s second podcast ever. She also discussed her acting debut in Charli XCX’s The Moment and talked about getting into singing. Chalamet was in the background during the recording.

Someone in the comments claimed they could hear his laugh. Call Me by Your Name came out in 2017. Chalamet was 20 when he filmed it. It got him his first Oscar nomination at 22.

Jenner’s favorite film is the one that started everything. That’s not a bad choice.
