Kat Graham reveals Diana Ross’ scene cuts from ‘Michael’
Kat Graham took to Instagram to reveal that most of her scenes in Michael are cut. She was revealed to be cast as Diana Ross, Michael Jackson’s mentor, mother figure, and lover, as he once described.
In her Instagram stories, she wrote, “Ahead of the April 24 release of the Michael Jackson film, I want to share that certain legal considerations affected a few scenes, including ones I filmed with an incredible cast. Unfortunately, these moments are no longer part of the final cut, though the team worked hard to preserve as much of the story as possible.”
Now, what the legal considerations exactly are, she did not describe. The actress also did not hint at the nature of it, but all we know is that some fans aren’t too happy about it.
Netizens suggested the idea of placing the scenes in a future biopic sequel, though none of it has been confirmed as of now. Diana Ross is one of the essential figures who shaped Michael Jackson’s career.
Many media outlets speculated on the nature of their relationship, deeming it romantic, though none of the stars confirmed it. Jackson wrote the song Dirty Diana which had everyone guessing if it was for Ross, though it was later denied.
All these years, Michael Jackson’s stardom, be it his songwriting process or his beliefs, has been a subject of interest for many young fans. His relationships, be it his troubled dynamic with his family or his romance with the ladies, have been expanded on and covered by many fans and enthusiasts.
