However, the reunion didn’t last, with Lopez filing for divorce in August 2024. Now, Affleck is reportedly handing over his stake in the mansion they purchased together.

As per TMZ, Affleck reportedly gifted his ex-wife his entire share of their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion for free. Reportedly, the ex-partners revised their property settlement terms, with documents obtained by TMZ indicating a transfer of assets between the two.
The couple jointly bought the mansion in June 2023, when they were still married. The sprawling property has 24 bathrooms, 12 bedrooms, and a full basketball court, spread across a whopping 38,000 square feet. Media outlets reported that the couple paid the full amount in cash for the opulent estate.
However, the following year, they put their home on the market as divorce rumors swirled. It was also reported that the pop icon apparently complained about the property being “too big,” establishing a possible reason for the sale. But in 2025, the ex-partners changed their minds and decided to pull the luxury residence off the market.
“They lowered the price to get more interest, and when this didn’t happen, they were advised to take it off the market,” an industry source told People, adding, “While they’ve been hoping to sell the property, they’ve also been hesitant to take a big loss.”
The “business decision” to take the estate off the market seems to have worked out well for Lopez, as the mansion is now entirely under her ownership, allowing her to decide its future.
The actor and the pop star finalized their divorce in January 2025, with Lopez reportedly making it clear that she has no intention of marrying again.
