Action, drama, and high stakes are what make Solo Leveling so good. The anime takes it to another level, and that’s especially the case with Season 2. It’s been almost a year since it concluded, and here’s what the producer had to say regarding the series’ fate.
Solo Leveling producer addresses the fate of the anime series
At the Comic Con in Mumbai, Solo Leveling producer Atsushi Kaneko addressed the fate of Season 3, saying, “Give us a bit more time, and we will share something. They are working on it right now.”
It’s been almost a year since Solo Leveling’s second season concluded. Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates regarding the third season, which will pick up the loose threads from season 2’s finale ending. The final scene introduced both Frost Monarch Sillad and Monarch of Fangs, Rakan. They will make an appearance in the third seasons nd will play a major role in the Dragon Monarch arc.
There are also speculations that Season 3 will potentially cover scenes featuring Norma Selner, which were left out due to major pacing issues.
Season 2 peaked in terms of its animation, voice acting, and, most importantly, sustaining the emotional impact throughout the series. Be it Jinwoo’s reunion with his mother or Min Byung-Gyu’s death, the second season was a true tearjerker.
Solo Leveling explores Sung Jinwoo’s transformation from a low-grade weak hunter to an exceptionally strong and unparalleled individual.
A near-death experience at the Dungeon Temple is what triggered his survival, but also his will and zeal to carry on. Jinwoo does seem like a character who would cling to ironclad stereotypes; he’s weak, ridiculed, and even bullied by his peers.
What the system does is it teaches him mastery of both the body and the mind. This happens through a series of events, including betrayal from his own peers in the Dungeons & Lizards Arc.
The anime also reflects Jinwoo’s ruthlessness and his dark side on many occasions, making it an accurate portrayal of the manhwa. It also showcased some of the finest battle choreography through its impeccable animation.
Needless to say, it makes sense why fans are eagerly waiting for Season 3.
