The Pitt star Noah Wyle is most certainly going places. He redefined medical drama through his involvement in the Netflix show, but hold up—that’s not all! The actor recently made a real-life difference by raising impressive funds at Netflix’s charity auction. Here’s everything we know so far.

Noah Wyles chalks up $36k at Netflix’s charity event

As reported by Variety, Noah Wyle not only attended the charity auction but also conducted a physical exam. The bids went up to a whopping $36,000 in total. The media outlet reported that Wyle gave two fans mock exams worth $36,000, but there’s more to the event. A professional bidder and auctioneer were present at the premises, with bidding starting at $2,000 and going up to $18,000 each.

At the Netflix Is a Joke festival, Wyle took his role in The Pitt quite seriously. For those unfamiliar, he plays the role of a senior doctor, Michael Robinavitch, but here’s the thing. The actor’s penchant for medical roles goes way back to 1994, when he starred in ER (1994-2009) as John Carter.

Both John Carter and Michael Robinavitch have one thing in common: their dedication to their patients and their sincerity towards the cause. Wyle conducted mock physical checkups for Next for Autism, an organization that aims to support children and adults with autism by providing assistance and facilitating their care.

For this act, he suited up as his character from The Pitt, i.e., Michael Robby Robinabvitch. He was seen wearing his stethoscope while bidding was underway. The physical checkups were part of the Night of Too Many Stars, hosted by Jon Stewart, known for hosting The Daily Show. It was part of the streaming giant’s larger annual event, the Netflix Is a Joke festival.

It started way back in 2017 and has since become an annual event for comedians. Other stars who participated in this included Conan O’ Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, among many other stand-up artists. The festival also featured performances by Ali Wong, Kevin Hart, David Spade, Nikki Glaser, and so on.
