Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the first Indian-made star to appear on the renowned podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. With more than 50 films to her name, she had etched out a long career in Bollywood before venturing out to Hollywood. The veteran film star, who usually carries herself with confidence, admitted she was a bit flustered while speaking with the renowned podcaster, while mentioning her movie, The Bluff.
Priyanka Chopra had her reservations about measuring up to Joe’s Eclectic guest list
In episode 2464 of the JRE podcast, Priyanka Chopra went toe-to-toe with Rogan, discussing AI, ancient history, and other things. However, at the start of the podcast, Chopra said that she was a bit “nervous” about coming on the show.
“I won’t lie. I am nervous to talk to you… like I came in slightly intimidated,” she told Rogan. When asked why by the podcaster, she said, “I actually don’t know the answer to that because we’ve never met. Yeah. So, it’s not like you’ve intimidated me, but I just think what I really enjoy about the show is just such an eclectic perspective on so many diverse things, and it comes so naturally to you. I really admire that.”
To make his guest feel comfortable, Rogan stated that he personally looks forward to interviewing guests on the podcast and does not hire anyone to curate his guest list. Chopra then thanked him for picking her, and Rogan said he was “excited” to have a conversation with her.
The veteran UFC commentator, being a very curious individual, has engaged with guests from diverse fields, holding free-flowing conversations across multiple disciplines. With more than 2,000 episodes to his name, he is a seasoned podcaster, and it is quite natural for someone to be intimidated by a man of his caliber. But Chopra’s acknowledgment of her nervousness was refreshing, and she handled the situation with grace.
Thereafter, the conversation flowed smoothly as Chopra hung in with Rogan as he switched from ancient history and lost civilizations to AI and action sequences in her latest release, Bluff. Safe to say, there wasn’t a hint of nervousness as the actress shared her opinions on these topics with confidence.
