One Piece has become a global and cultural phenomenon ever since its release. The live-action series is also breaking records, especially with its second season. It was a massive hit, but recently, one of the actors spilled the details on the show’s possible end.

One Piece actor spills beans on series’ ending

Mackenyu, who plays Roronoa Zoro in the One Piece live-action series, spilled the details about the live-action series. He, along with the cast, spoke to The Movie Podcast about the live-action ending with a possible arc, and this is what he had to say:

He (Oda) has a vision to where he wants to end. Not end, but where he wants us to take the live-action to. We all know about it. We all know where he wants to go up to, so that had to be up a lot. There’s a specific arc he wants us to go up to.

This immediately had some fans jumping to conclusions, where most of them speculated it to be Marineford. Others, however, speculated that the series might make the storyline less convoluted.

Because the One Piece manga has around 1175 chapters, it will be a task to sum it all up. The anime alone has 1155 episodes that are animated by Toei Animation, which includes fillers as well.

The live-action series takes instances from both manga and anime in never-before-seen scenes, which makes it all the more unique. It is also supervised by Eiichiro Oda himself.

Up until now, the live-action series has covered major arcs, including East Blue Saga, Romance Dawn, Orange Town, Syrup Village, Baratie Arc, and Arlong Park in the first season. The second season covered all the major arcs up to Drum Island. Fans are on the edge of their seats for Season 3, as it will feature some of the most action-packed scenes and major reveals. It will focus on the Alabasta Arc, and the season is currently in production. It is scheduled for release around late 2027 or 2028, as some reports suggest.
