From fashion to friendship, Hannah Montana became a memorable 2000’s show for all the 90s kids. It stands as one of the most iconic and popular Disney Channel shows. The series’ cast is all prepped to celebrate its 20th Anniversary, and Mitchel Musso had a special message for his fans as well.
Mitchel Musso thanks fans in an Instagram post
Mitchel Musso, who played Oliver Oken in Hannah Montana, took to his Instagram to pen a heartfelt message. He thanked the fans for helping build the show and making the series all the more special.
“We literally grew up with y’all — long days, crazy schedules, learning lines, cracking up between takes, and figuring out life while the camera rolled […] Like my Lillypop said on her post, so many of you building families of your own and sharing this wonderful story with your kids is a gift beyond words,” the actor wrote.
Musso rose to fame after his role as Oliver in the Hannah Montana series. Oliver Oken happens to be one of the very few people who know Miley Stewart’s secret. He is also a part of the trio alongside Lilly Truscott, played by Emily Osment and the titular character.
In his Instagram post, Musso shared unseen photos from the show as well as behind the scenes. It was a throwback post in a true fashion that rendered the 2000s nostalgia.
The actor also thanked the crew, along with Billy Ray Cyrus, while joking about his character’s haircut and caricatured mannerisms.
“Miley, Emily, Jason, Billy Ray, Moises — you became my family… Thank you for believing in a goofy kid from Texas who wore some questionable outfits with a haircut like that. To all of you, thank you for welcoming me into your homes and hearts 20 years ago and still allowing me to be here today. I’m honored we get to share all of this together,” Musso wrote.
Musso’s co-star, Emily Osment, also commented on the post, saying, “love you so so much”. The actress also posted a reel describing how the show changed her life and thanked the fans for showering her with sweet messages.
