Disney Channel and the Mount Rushmore debate never gets old. Everyone has their list of favorite actors they would want to be in that list. Macaulay Culkin is no different, and the actor’s Mount Rushmore is a tribute to his wife, so let’s take a look!
Macaulay Culkin names his Disney Channel Mount Rushmore
Macaulay Culkin stole netizens’ hearts with his post dedicated to his wife, Brenda Song. He called her his Mount Rushmore after the recent row of Disney stars naming their favorite ones.
On his Instagram account, Culkin posted a photo of Brenda Song and captioned it, “Not that anyone asked, but I’m throwing my hat into the debate. THIS is my Disney Channel Mount Rushmore.”
The photo shows Brenda Song in her iconic role as London Tipton from the popular Disney Channel show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Song is wearing a dress reminiscent of the 2000s era, along with statement jewellery.
Fans are very much aware of Song’s involvement in Disney Channel projects. She played the role of Tia in Phil of the Future. It was after this show that she received her big break, which ultimately shaped her career.
Song’s role as London Tipton in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody was a straight-up parody of Paris Hilton. Hilton is a socialite and heiress who is rich, spoiled, sassy, and a true fashion icon.
It is no wonder this role of hers remains memorable for most fans to this date. Then comes Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, where she played the lead role. Her character learns combat and martial arts, especially kung-fu, but that’s not all.
Brenda Song isn’t someone defined by TV shows and films alone. She acted in The Loud House, Phineas and Ferb, The Smurfs, Lilo and Stitch, Zootopia, and many more. All in all, she is a multifaceted actress who has worked on Disney Channel projects. She is a diverse and versatile actress who remains a 2000s icon for many 90s kids.
Culkin and Song started their careers as child actors and became household names in the entertainment industry. They met on the sets of Changeland in 2017 and are now married.
