The wedding bells may be ringing for global pop icon and Wednesday actress Lady Gaga. The Grammy-winning singer confirmed her engagement in 2024 after her now-fiancé, American entrepreneur Michael Polansky, popped the question with a blade of grass, a gesture she later said inspired the song “Blade of Grass” from her latest album, Mayhem. Now, she may have offered a sneak peek into her wedding plans during a TikTok Live session with another pop superstar, Bruno Mars.

Bruno Mars asked to pick ‘special’ song for soon-to-be-married couple

During a TikTok Live session promoting his album The Romantic, Bruno Mars played a recorded message from his friend Lady Gaga, dropping the bombshell that she is getting married soon. However, she did not reveal the exact details of her upcoming wedding.

“Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we are getting married soon,” she says. Then, Gaga asked Mars to pick a special song for when they finally exchange their vows. Bruno obliged, choosing the song “Risk It All” from his latest album, The Romantic.

“If you’re looking for a song to dedicate to your husband, I would say off this new album of mine. I would go with ‘Risk It All.’ Track one. So, I want to dedicate this to Lady Gaga and her fiancé,” the “Locked Out of Heaven” singer said.

Reportedly, Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have been together for several years. She told E! News in March last year that she wanted to keep the “best day” of her life a “private” event. The romance between the duo began following Gaga’s split from ex-boyfriend Christian Carino in 2019, with the pair first spotted kissing on New Year’s Day in January 2020.

The “Bad Romance” hitmaker made their relationship Instagram official in February 2020 when she shared a photo of herself sitting on Polansky’s lap at the Super Bowl. Since then, the couple has gone strong, posting photos, making public appearances, and supporting each other whenever they can.

Furthermore, Gaga’s latest album, Mayhem, was heavily influenced by her engagement to her fiancé, a milestone she has described as deeply significant in her life. Now, the happy couple may be looking forward to playing Bruno Mars’ song “Risk It All” on their wedding day—whenever it happens.
