The beauty mogul, Kylie Jenner, now appears keen to step into the movie business. She has dabbled in several ventures over the years, ranging from reality television and cosmetics to the beauty industry, social media influencing, and modeling, among other pursuits. However, despite being closely connected to the entertainment industry, acting in a film has somehow eluded her—until now.
Kylie Jenner will be selective about the roles she picks
In a recent interview with Variety, Jenner expressed her interest in acting and said she is considering taking on film roles in the future. She stated that her brief appearance in The Moment, a satirical project connected to Charli XCX, encouraged her to try her hand at acting.
Furthermore, Jenner revealed that she has already received scripts and offers but hasn’t yet found a project that feels like the right fit. She admitted that she is very selective about the roles she wants to pursue and will not be persuaded to take on a movie unless there is a role that excites her creatively.
“Nothing that I feel is right yet, but I 100 percent want to do more,” she said.
Interestingly, Jenner suggested that comedy is a genre in which she might be able to shine, aligning with her personality and on-screen presence. “I really like comedy. I think I’m good at it.”
However, she also did not rule out the possibility of starring in a big-budget action film.
“Maybe next time I talk to you, I’ll be the lead of an action movie!” she joked.
Safe to say, Jenner is someone who could pass the look test for a Hollywood leading role, and she has also appeared in a few notable music videos, including WAP and Recognize.
For now, Jenner continues to juggle multiple responsibilities, including running her successful beauty brand and raising her children. However, her comments clearly indicate that she is eager to explore opportunities beyond reality television and entrepreneurship. Now, it remains to be seen whether her Hollywood debut begins with a comedic role or an action part that introduces audiences to her acting abilities on the big screen.
