While Kaley Cuoco is popular for her iconic role in CBS’s The Big Bang Theory, she also starred in various films and drama series. Charmed is one of them, and recently, the actress shared her experience of being snubbed by Rose McGowan.
Kaley Cuoco shares snubbing experience on ‘Crowned’ set
Kaley Cuoco recently appeared on the podcast Armchair Expert, hosted by Dax Shepard and Monica Padman. The actress shared her experience on the Charmed set with both Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. She said:
I walk in, Alyssa Milano sees me, and I will always tell this story about her. She got up, ran over to me. Gave me the biggest hug in the world. “We’re so happy.”.. So Kind, so kind. Rose, maybe, is not as happy. Sure Sure… Yeah.. I don’t know,” She added, saying, “I still don’t know if she liked me. But Alyssa was amazing.” Cuoco gushed about her co-star Alyssa Milano in the podcast, praising her for her warm demeanor.
Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan were among the pivotal cast members in the show, while Cuoco appeared as a secondary character later on.
The actress played the role of the gifted witch, Billy Jenkins, in Season 8 for almost 22 episodes. Billy is the younger sister of Christy Jenkins, who also happens to be a witch. She also mentioned this during the podcast: that she only did this particular season.
This was way before her breakthrough role in The Big Bang Theory, which launched her career in the television space. Her role as the young Jenkins witch in Charmed remains impressive to this date.
Charmed was filmed between 1998 and 2006, and it followed the journey of three sisters who discover their ancestry as witches. Together, they use their powers to fight evil forces.
The show was a massive hit in the 90s and paved the way for more witchy and occult-themed shows. It was a true pop culture phenomenon that shaped the decade.
Not only that, but Charmed, being a cult classic witchy show, inspired Witches of East End and Eastwick. Talk about influence!
