Almost 25 years ago, Harry Potter released its first film in the franchise. It’s been one bumpy yet magical ride as we witnessed the actors pave the way to their stardom. Such is the case with Bonnie Wright, who stood out in her role as Ginny Weasley. The actress is now welcoming another little Potterhead along the way. 

Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright announces pregnancy 

Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy. The star cannot wait for her baby to join them, as she expressed her delight in one of her recent posts that said, “Two babies on my lap, our second little earthling joining us this autumn!!”

Wright is seen lounging on the couch while her 3-year-old son lies his head on her bump. Several actors congratulated the actress on her new journey of parenthood. Evanna Lynch wrote, “Ahhh, congratulations Bonnie!!! 🥰💞” 

Jacob Artist also showed his love by pouring out heart emojis on the actress’s post. It was followed by several authors, activists, designers, and artists wishing her their heartiest congratulations. 

Bonnie Wright met her husband, Andrew Lococo, through mutual friends. He is a businessman who is settled in San Diego. They got married after dating for a year in 2022. The pair also has a son named Elio, who was born on September 19th, 2023. 

The actress has spoken about how parenthood changed her and how she is inspired by the Weasleys when it comes to her parenting style in an interview with People in 2025. 

“I’ve gone on to be very, very committed to amplifying a lot of stuff around the climate and our environment, and I feel like the Weasleys, to me, are probably the most sustainable magical family ever,” 

Wright also cited nature as one of the biggest teachers when it comes to parenting lessons. She is widely regarded as an advocate for sustainability, eco-conscious living, and climate activism. 

In 2025, the actress also launched a community called Hello Earthling, where families raise and nurture kids in a sustainable and conscious environment. It has podcasts, kids’ activities, and parental support as well.
