T.J Miller reveals Ryan Reynolds’ plans with Deadpool

TJ Miller, in an interview with 101WRIF, revealed Reynolds’ plans with the franchise. He said, “I will also say that his idea for the next Deadpool film is, like, really good. You know, it’s just, it is really smart. He told me the idea. I kind of got hair on the back of my neck standing up.”

Miller and Reynolds co-starred in Deadpool 1 and 2. The actor played Weasel in the Marvel movie. Previously, Miller was at loggerheads with his co-star. He claimed Reynolds was extremely mean to him on the sets of the film in the Adam Carolla Show, saying, “You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”

He also expressed his wishes not to work with Reynolds again, saying. He commented, “And I haven’t been in more movies than him… Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again. I sorta wish him well because he’s so good at ‘Deadpool,’ and I think it’s weird that he hates me.”

The Deadpool co-stars reconciled in 2022, shortly after the controversy. In late 2024, Miller appeared on The Bonfire hosted by Big Jay Oakerson and Robert Kelly and changed his stance. He said:

“I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really—I think that would be awesome.”

As of now, he has expressed his interest in returning to the Deadpool franchise. No official statement has been made from Ryan Reynolds’ side in this regard. This is due to Miller’s past allegations and legal troubles involving misconduct, which makes his return all the more contentious.
