One Piece is back with the much-anticipated Elbaf Arc that will take viewers to the world of Giants. We were introduced to giants as early as the Little Garden Arc, but the trailer itself has some more references that fans may have missed. Let’s take a look at these!

5. Robin and Saul’s reunion

The trailer gave away Robin and Saul’s heart-wrenching reunion, and this is true for manga fans who have been keeping up with the premise until now. Robin meets Jaguar D Saul, her mentor, caretaker, and a father figure in Elbaf in the manga. The trailer gave a small peek into that heartfelt moment, and fans had better keep their tissues ready for this one!

4. Robin’s old haircut

While some One Piece fans are of the opinion that timeskip designs are cool and apt, others align more with the pre-timeskip designs. What the Elbaf arc did for most fans was bring back the nostalgia through Nico Robin’s style. She gets her old haircut back sans tan, and we couldn’t be happier!

3. Loki’s first look is revealed

Loki was first introduced in the Whole Cake Island Arc. It was revealed that he proposed to Charlotte Lola, and he fell in love with her. She rejected him, and it was also made clear that the marriage was entirely political. At that time, the character was shown as a silhouette.

The trailer showed Loki in his most menacing form as of yet, and it was a true aura-farming moment. Toei gave Loki the baddest drip, as some would say, but that’s not it. From the intricacies and color to the character design, the character’s animation is spot on. Yuichi Nakamura’s voice acting for Loki is the cherry on the cake!

2. Shamrock makes an appearance

Manga fans know who Shamrock really is, so we won’t spill the beans. He is one of the major antagonists in the Elbaf Arc, who is all set to make his appearance. The trailer hints at the character’s supposed involvement in the events in the Elbaf Arc. It will also reveal his ultimate goal and motives surrounding Luffy, the Straw Hats, and their allies.

1. Louis Arnote makes a comeback

Louis Arnote, for those of you who may know, is an adventurer in the world of the One Piece universe. He is known for naming the Little Garden, and it’s precisely in this arc that he makes his first appearance. The trailer also features Arnote’s annotations about Elbaf, which are perfectly placed within the clip.

“One Thing I must tell you about Elbaf is… Do Not Linger There For too Long.” Tomohisa Aso reprises his role as Arnote in the upcoming One Piece Arc.

On top of that, the trailer also features Hajrudin along with New Giant Warrior Pirates, including Stansen, Road, Goldberg, and Gerd in the trailer.

One Piece: Elbaf Arc will be released on 5th April 2026 and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
