Mount Rushmore is another new term for naming one’s top 4 icons or shows, and so on. Disney Channel is no stranger to that, especially when it comes to the 2000s era. Demi Lovato has her own list, and it seems like Shia LaBeouf did not make it to that one.
Demi Lovato’s not-so-subtle stance on Shia LaBeouf
Disney star Demi Lovato recently appeared on the Chicks in the Office podcast. They discussed her career, breakthroughs, and her Disney Mount Rushmore.
The hosts, Francesca Mariano and Ria Ciuffo, referenced Raven-Symoné’s Mount Rushmore list and also subtly named Shia LaBeouf. Lovato replied, saying, “Um, I’m okay on that one.”
Last week, Symone was asked who was included in her Mount Rushmore. She revealed her favorites, including Jett Thompson, Shia LaBeouf, and Hilary Duff, but excluded Miley Cyrus. This was in The Shade Room podcast hosted by Anjelica Nwandu.
Shia LaBeouf has been in the throes of controversy for some time. This raised further speculations among many fans and netizens. Lovato then named Raven-Symoné and Hilary as her favorites for shaping the course of Disney.
Francesca said she won’t put him on her list, while Ria said, “We’ll pass.” Lovato then went on to name her favorites, where she included Raven-Symoné and Hillary Duff.
The artist also suggested the idea of having a separate Mount Rushmore for the next generation. She named Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and probably herself.
Demi Lovato rose to fame after her breakthrough role in Camp Rock. She played the role of Mitchie Torres and soon became a household name. It was after this that she starred in Sonny With a Chance, Princess Protection Program, and so on.
Other than that, Lovato has had a successful career as a singer-songwriter. Be it Frozen or Scream 6, she worked on various film projects as an artist. She even judged X Factor’s seasons 2 and 3.
As of late, she is rumored to return to Camp Rock 3 and will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres. She is also prepping for her It’s Not That Deep Tour between April and May 2026.
