Sabrina Carpenter throws shade at internet ‘fans’

Sabrina Carpenter took to X to respond to an X user who wrote, “women are always like, ‘men are useless,’ but Sabrina Carpenter is only 4 feet 11, she can’t even climb into a mid-size SUV without help.”

Her response to this was spot-on as she wrote, “Yes, I can?” The X user criticized the singer after a clip of her resurfaced. She is shown singing Manchild at Lollapalooza, but some users misconstrued it completely.

The clip, posted by X user Sabrina Updates, captioned it saying, “Sabrina Carpenter at Lollapalooza having over 100K people call men USELESS!”

Eventually, many fans came in support of Carpenter and criticized the X user for “messing with the Queen”. The singer has been in the face of controversy for her views and perspectives on dating and love.

Time and time again, she has been criticized for her bold artistic style and choices. Her cover for the album Man’s Best Friend was slammed by many critics and fans. She spoke to Rolling Stones about the criticism and mockery, saying, “I find irony and humor in all of that, because it seems to be a recurring theme. I’m not upset about it, other than I feel mad pressure to be funny sometimes,”

The singer has repeatedly clapped back at haters and trolls who confine her within a set stereotype. She was once asked by an X user in June 2025 if her personality exists outside of s—, to which she replied, “Girl, yes, and it’s goooooooood.” It is safe to say she isn’t one to shy away from confrontation.

She is currently touring for Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, and will also perform at the upcoming Coachella festival in April.
