XO, Kitty is back with a bang for its third season, which will air this year. The series will have its fair share of plot twists and revelations, including cameos. This is especially the case with Lana Condor, who’s relieved that her role is not a secret anymore.

Lana Condor relieved by her obvious cameo in Xo Kitty

Lana Condor spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her excitement regarding the show. She said, “One, I’m excited, obviously, about the show, but I’m so excited about not having to keep it a secret for like three years. Okay? And I– I’m so bad at lying.”

Apparently, the crew did not reveal her name even in the name sheets. This was done to maintain an air of secrecy, as the actress said. This will probably be the first time Lara Jean will make her appearance as a cameo in XO, Kitty’s season 3. The trailer made it pretty clear and obvious, but it would be exciting to see how it pans out. Previously,

Janel Parrish reprised her role as Margot Covey in Season 2. The eldest sister helped Kitty bond with her maternal family. They reunite after an age-old dispute, and even Minho helped in making this possible. The second season also featured Noah Centineo in a brief cameo as Peter Kavinsky. The character visits Kitty and helps her out regarding her troubled high school life.

When asked about the upcoming season and her cameo, Condor said, “It was my first time getting to step into Anna’s world. XO, Kitty is her entire world. She made that completely on her own by herself. It was so exciting to be able to step into her world and see what she’s been able to accomplish.

When asked about whether she sees a spin-off featuring Lara Jean and Kitty, she said she’s absolutely down for that. There hasn’t been any confirmation regarding this as of now. XO, Kitty, Season 3, is slated for release on April 2, 2026.
