“Matt and Karen are both loners,” Woll said. “They are pretty much the only other person that the other one has left.”
The Season 1 ending leaves both characters facing the growing threat posed by Mayor Fisk’s campaign against vigilantism.
“There’s a dependence and a reliance and a support of one another,” she added. The trailer for the new season opens with Matt and Karen sharing an intimate moment while they are dancing together.
