Euphoria Season 3 is nothing like what you expected out of the show, especially with how things are faring. It gets darker with each episode, and the recent episode confirmed something really interesting: the finale will be exciting and much longer. Here’s everything we know about it so far!
Euphoria Season Finale to exceed expectations and timing
As reported by Screenrant, the finale for Euphoria’s season 3 will be 93 minutes long. Yes! You read that right! It’s one record-breaking update for HBO. It would be the longest TV episode for HBO, and its history of shows, but that’s not it. The show takes a dark turn, especially with its recent episode.
Maddy shows Cassie who’s the boss, and it only gets worse from this point onwards. She has nothing to fear, and it’s Cassie who has to shoulder Nate’s piling debts. The helplessness is pretty evident when we see Cassie begging Maddie to come back. It also reflected her poor choices, as she is now a full-fledged adult star, and clearly, there’s no going back with this!
As for Rue, things are definitely not looking good. If “out of a frying pan and into a fire” were a person, it would definitely be Rue. She is not at all discreet, and Alamo has caught on to her plans. With her being buried alive, it puts everything on a cliffhanger; Is Rue dead, will she survive, or will it be yet another shock value scene like the one in the first episode?
We know Alamo almost ended her, and it was a classic William Tell reference. It’s become common and has us thinking if it were indeed a Wild West story, and it truly is. Here, too, Alamo is dressed up as a cowboy, and he charges towards Rue while he’s riding a horse. She, on the other hand, is buried alive, neck deep, and the scene cuts to black.
From Wild West and Breaking Bad, Euphoria is on a GoT level of violence, especially with what happened to Nate in one of the most gory and carnal scenes.
The finale will premiere on May 31st, 2026. Euphoria is available for streaming on HBO Max.
