Ginny & Georgia actress Brianne Howey announces pregnancy
Ginny & Georgia star Brianne Howey recently announced she’s pregnant on her Instagram. The actress took to social media and uploaded a post on her account. She is seen sporting a baby bump, and she further captioned the post saying, “Here we go again! Happy Mother’s Day!
Howey posted the selfie on Mother’s Day, and it garnered love and support from her fans. Ginny & Georgia’s showrunner, Debra J. Fisher, also commented, saying, “Baby two looks good on you.”
Jennifer Robertson, who plays Ellen Baker, also shared her love for her co-star, saying, “Happy Mother’s Day times 2 to you, my sweet friend.”
Not only that, but Ginny, aka Antonia Gentry, wished her onscreen mom well by dropping a teary and emotional eye. Both Gentry and Howey’s dynamic and acting have been praised by fans. This is Howey’s second child with her spouse, Matt Zierig, whom she has been married to since 2021. They welcomed their daughter in 2023.
Howey also recently starred in Tyler Spindel’s Kinda Pregnant alongside Amy Schumer and Adam Sandler. Her motherhood also played a huge role in her performance in Ginny & Georgia.
It helped her understand Georgia’s character better as well as the nuances of parenthood and the psychology behind it, as she told Parade in a recent interview.
“Being a mom is hard to put into words, and we still have a long way to go. My daughter is almost three, so it still, in some ways, feels like the beginning, of course, and I still have so much to learn. But it definitely added a lot of layers to it.”
As of yet, Howey will reprise her role as Georgia in Ginny & Georgia’s season 4, which is slated for release in late 2026. The season finished filming and production in 2025, as stated by some sources.
It will focus on the aftermath of Season 3 and potentially explore Georgia’s pregnancy as well.
