Some jokes age well, some don’t, while others spark interesting conversations and make for some really amazing backstories. Such was the case with Nikki Glaser, who roasted Leonardo DiCaprio at the 2026 Golden Globes, and the Titanic actor gave her a memorable gift. Here’s what the comedian had to say about that!
Leonardo DiCaprio’s gift to Nikki Glaser
Nikki Glaser recently appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. She revealed her joking about DiCaprio’s young girlfriends and her roasting the actor at the Golden Globes, after which he sent her baskets of pasta.
“ I was like, ‘Leo, we don’t know anything about you. The only thing we know about you is from a ‘Teen Beat’ article in 1991, where you told us your favorite food is pasta, pasta, and more pasta.” And then he sent me, um, three baskets of pasta as a thank-you.”
This was a reference to her hosting this year’s Golden Globes, where she made a joke about the young girlfriends. Glaser apologized to the actor, saying she doesn’t know anything about him except for an old article that said he loves pasta.
It’s actually true, and the actor’s response to it was pure gold. He took the joke in stride, and the moment itself ended with Glaser saying, “Please open up, man,” which was downright hilarious.
Hold on! Glaser also threw in a punch line, saying how she’s expecting more gifts because of all the roasts she did in the same interview.
And then I did a joke about Sean Penn looking like a s–y leather handbag. And, um… [ Laughter ] And so I’m waiting for a package from Hermes any day now.
Glaser is known for her illustrious career as a comedian and an impeccable roastmaster, but she also acted in various movies, starred in TV shows, and lent her voice to video games and animated films.
She is currently working on a comedy project with Judd Apatow, which is currently in the pre-production stages. Glaser is also featured in the new special that she wrote, which is titled as Good Girl. It will be streamed on Hulu.
