Ms. Marvel is apparently not done making surprise appearances in other people’s stories, and honestly, nobody is complaining. According to Cosmic Circus insider Alex Perez, VisionQuest contains a setup tied to Ms. Marvel that is not connected to Tommy Maximoff, teasing that there is something bigger in play for Kamala Khan beyond what fans have been expecting.

Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan reportedly has a setup in VisionQuest

When pressed further, Perez simply dropped a winking emoji and moved on, which is the Marvel equivalent of a fire alarm going off in a building full of fans. The news lands at an interesting time for the character. Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan has been conspicuously absent from major MCU announcements lately, with her name missing from the Avengers: Doomsday cast reveal entirely.

That silence had fans worried, especially given how central her bangle has been to the wider Multiverse Saga storyline. But between this VisionQuest tease and separate rumors confirming she factors into both Doomsday and Secret Wars, it looks like Marvel has quietly been building toward something much larger for her.

VisionQuest itself is shaping up to be a serious piece of Phase Six infrastructure. Created by Terry Matalas of Star Trek: Picard fame, the eight-episode series sees Paul Bettany return as White Vision alongside James Spader reprising Ultron, with the show described as the third and final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy.

Matalas has said each episode feels like a different kind of film and teased that the finale contains what he called “a Marvel dream” for longtime fans.

The series is currently set to debut on Disney+ in late 2026, slotting in somewhere between Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July and Avengers: Doomsday in December.

If the VisionQuest setup for Ms. Marvel is as significant as Perez is hinting, it could be the reintroduction fans have been waiting for before the Multiverse Saga reaches its endgame.

For a character who walked into the MCU as a complete unknown and immediately stole every room she entered, Kamala Khan turning up in Vision’s corner of the universe feels both surprising and completely inevitable.
