Avengers: Doomsday is the talk of the town for many reasons. Its trailer was released in CinemaCon, creating buzz and hype across the globe and on the internet. To add to that, Marvel has now announced the re-release of Avengers: Endgame, and here’s everything you need to know!
Marvel announces Avengers: Endgame re-release
As reported by Variety, Marvel has now made an announcement regarding the re-release of Avengers: Endgame. This is especially after the recent release of Doomsday’s trailer, but here’s the thing.
It was announced way back in December 2025 that Endgame would re-release before Doomsday. The additional information revealed that the film will be screened on Infinity Vision.
For those out of the loop, the Infinity Screens are an initiative by Disney, which can be best described as a premium hallmark certification for movies.
Kevin Feige happened to confirm the re-release as reported by many media outlets. The re-release will feature never-before-seen scenes and added footage. Fans are of the belief that this would add some sense of conclusiveness to Doomsday’s convoluted trailers.
The film is scheduled for a re-release in September 2026, and many believe that Marvel is eyeing the film to gross globally. There are also speculations about this move, mainly because Doomsday’s release date is clashing with Dune 3, and here’s the thing.
Dune 3 has secured exclusive IMAX screenings for almost three weeks, and this clearly means that the movie is toe-to-toe with Doomsday.
To counter it, Infinity Vision surely seems like the best resort, as some say, but also because of what the certification claims to do for filmmakers, actors, and artists alike.
Andrew Cripps himself vouched for Infinity Vision’s supreme quality and boasted about its cutting-edge technology, making it superior to other screens.
Infinity Vision certification extends that commitment to the theaters themselves, representing a shared effort between The Walt Disney Studios and the exhibition community to help audiences quickly find the very best screens in their area to experience our films in exactly the way they’re designed to be seen – on a huge screen with the sharpest, clearest color and sound.”
Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release on 18th December 2026.
