Jasveen Sangha Begs for Mercy in Matthew Perry Sentence

Jasveen Sangha reportedly expressed regret ahead of sentencing in the Matthew Perry death case.

Matthew Perry‘s death came as a shock to the entertainment industry. The Friends star was found dead in his hot tub at his residence in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. He died due to the acute effects of KTM, and further investigations revealed a d— distribution network that supplied Perry with fatal quantities of KTM. Now one of the prime accused in the case, Jasveen Sangha, will be serving a 15-year prison sentence, and before her sentencing, she reportedly pleaded for forgiveness.

Sangha expressed shame and regret ahead of sentencing

Sangha, whom the media describes as the “KQ,” reportedly begged for forgiveness ahead of her sentencing in relation to Perry’s death. As per a letter TMZ obtained, Sangha was apologetic toward the family members she had affected by her actions.

She further stated that she felt ashamed, and she would wear that shame “like a jacket” for the rest of her life. Moreover, she also expressed regret for her actions and said she thinks about it every day, noting that she also has a family.

She was also grateful towards Judge Garnett, who oversaw the case, and the U.S. Attorneys for stopping her in her tracks, commending their roles in preventing d—- trafficking and indirectly saving those who struggle with addiction. Moving forward, she wants to focus on healing as a new chapter in her life unfolds.

“These were not mistakes. They were horrible decisions,” Sangha said, adding that they “shattered people’s lives and the lives of their family and friends.”

She pleaded guilty seven months ago and was sentenced to 15 years in prison this year on five charges, including maintaining a d—- involved premises, three counts of distributing KTM, and one count of distribution resulting in death or serious bodily injury.

Others accused, along with Sangha in the illegal d—- distribution chain, Fleming, Iwamasa, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, and Dr. Mark Chavez, have also been sentenced.

Perry had been battling substance abuse throughout his life and was quite vocal about his struggles in the public domain. Even though justice was delivered, the tragedy of Perry’s loss still lingers.
