Paradise fame Krys Marshall to star in Toy Story 5
As reported by Deadline, Krys Marshall will star in Toy Story 5. Her role in the movie hasn’t been disclosed yet. The media house has speculated that the actress will probably voice the role of a grown-up.
Marshall is popularly known for her role as Nicole Robinson in Hulu’s post-apocalyptic thriller series Paradise. She also stars in For All Mankind as Danielle Poole. Both are her recurring roles as of now.
For the actress, her upcoming role in the Pixar movie is nothing short of a dream come true. She responded to her casting, saying, “I grew up watching the Toy Story movies as a little kid and just being immersed and enamored with the characters, so to get to have a part in it and participate in this childhood history of mine is just too cool.”
She has worked on a range of projects, be it films and TV series, and her roster proves one thing: Marshall is an illustrious and versatile actress. Her role in the upcoming film would be fascinating to say the least.
Toy Story 5 blends storytelling with modern elements through its introduction of electronic toys. It will highlight a conflict between traditional and modern toys, especially since the former is being replaced by the latter. Buzz Lightyear and the group must navigate themselves through this situation and find a way out as their purpose itself comes into question with the advent of new and hyped electronic toys.
Other than Marshall, Conan O Brien has also joined the cast. He will play the role of Smarty Pants, while Greta Lee will voice Lilypad. Both the toys work in tandem to create chaos for the traditional toys.
