It’s officially the year of Zendaya, but she’s already planning the exit strategy. After a relentless 2026 that sees her across five massive projects, she confirmed on March 26 that she’s “disappearing for a little bit.“
Five Projects, One Year
“I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit,” she told Fandango while promoting The Drama. She also said she hopes people don’t get sick of her, which, given the schedule, is a fair concern.
The five projects are The Drama on April 3, Euphoria Season 3 on April 12, The Odyssey on July 17, Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, and Dune: Part Three on December 18. By the time the Dune credits roll, Zendaya will have been the face of five massive marketing campaigns in one year. But that’s not all, because Robert Pattinson is in three of those with her. At this point, those two are the ultimate co-stars of 2026.
The Tom Holland situation is the other thing running alongside all of this. Zendaya was spotted wearing what looked like a wedding band at the Oscars and Paris Fashion Week.
Law Roach, her stylist, said the media missed a wedding. On Jimmy Kimmel, she addressed the AI wedding photos that have been circulating. “Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, and people are like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real.‘”
Holland has not confirmed anything either.
Zendaya said she’s deeply appreciative of everyone supporting her career, and that’s what the break is for. She hasn’t said how long. She hasn’t said what she’ll do during it.
Given that she and Holland have been reportedly engaged since late 2024, and the wedding rumors have not gone away, the guess is that she’s focused on her personal life once December is over.
Five projects in 2026. Then nothing for a while. Fans have nine months to prepare.
