Actor Alan Ritchson had one hell of a week. He was involved in a neighborhood brawl that sparked widespread public attention on social media, but Brentwood police confirmed that no charges will be filed against him. Now, he is back to his professional commitments, providing an update on the upcoming installment of the popular action-packed crime drama series Reacher.
Ritchson wraps Reacher post-production
After putting the much-publicized brawling incident behind him, the actor informed fans that he has finished the post-production process for Season 4 of Reacher. In a video posted on his Instagram account, Ritchson could be seen in the ADR booth recording his lines for the show.
“Here we are in the ADR booth. For the very last time. For Season 4, Reacher. We are dunzos. This thing is going to be hitting the airwaves very soon. Best season yet,” he could be heard saying in the video footage.
Ritchson also assured fans that Season 4 is the most “gripping” yet as he wraps up post-production. Previously, speaking to Collider, he said that the latest season would be released this year, pointing to a 2026 premiere window, though Amazon Prime Video has yet to announce an exact release date.
In an earlier interview with ScreenRant, he stated that Season 4 is going to be action-heavy, revealing that he shot around 30 fight sequences and was concerned that audiences might experience fight fatigue. “We shot… God, I don’t even know, man. 30? We’ve never shot this many fights. There’s so many. And it’s not just that we’re just going for the sake of it. I worry about fight fatigue for audiences.”
“I don’t ever want somebody to disengage because they’re just seeing all the fights in the world thrown on screen,” he added.
Based on Lee Child’s best-selling novels, Reacher on Amazon Prime Video has received a strong audience reception. Now, fans can’t wait for Reacher to combine his sharp investigative instincts with brute-force combat to deliver an even more thrilling experience in the latest season.
